Hi I’m Judy –

Plant-based diet and lifestyle coach at your service!

Do you need help transitioning to a whole-food plant-based (or plant-strong) diet? Do you also need motivation and support while adopting other healthy lifestyle practices? Then welcome, you’ve come to the right place! I’m passionate about helping folks like you reach and exceed your goals.

I even wrote a plant-based cookbook and healthy eating guide to support your transition. Spoiler alert - the recipes are easy, family friendly, and simply delicious! It’s available on Amazon.

Far more than just another cookbook of ‘simply delicious recipes’, From Chronically Ill to Vibrantly Well provides a concise roadmap to radiant good health. The author writes in a clear, warm and joyful style that never overwhelms, but rather inspires and informs.
— Rosemary Gladstar, best-selling author and “Godmother of Modern American Herbalism”
From the recipes to the backstory to the positive encouragement this book provides, I have thoroughly enjoyed reading it. It has certainly inspired me to continue on my plant-based lifestyle and added many more recipe ideas to my meal plan.

From the Back Cover

No stranger to eating vegetables, Judy and her husband have been walking the organic gardening path in a big way for over thirty-five years. She finds joy in carefully stocking the pantry, refrigerator, and freezer with only wholesome, nourishing ingredients, and cooking meals from scratch. In the past, Judy was a vegetarian for ten years, and has been eating low-fat, plant-based without soy, corn, wheat, or yeast since 2012.

The recipes shared in this book stem from a lifetime of understanding plant foods from seed to plate. They are simply delicious, family friendly, and filled with healing herbs, spices, vegetables, mushrooms, and love.

Many of the 111 recipes include optional omnivore variations for those still transitioning to plant-based eating, and also to make meal preparation easier in a mixed-diet household. The result is everyone eats healthier and is satisfied. There are over fifty recipes without added oil; additional recipes can become oil-free by following the instructions for sautéing in broth.

Recipes are appropriate for experienced home cooks as well as novices. Many people who are chronically ill have brain fog, vision challenges, and fatigue. This was taken into consideration when creating the recipes and layout.

Accompanying recipe photos can be found at alifewellplanted.com. Many recipes include scannable QR codes – scan the code, and the companion photo will pop up on your smartphone.

Here are the cookbook companion photos – they are searchable by recipe name. Some I shot using my fancy camera with macro lens, others I took with my Iphone. I will add more over time.

It will take time to transition from the standard American diet to a much healthier diet, but please do start the journey.
